Happy Friday my fabulous friends! I've been thinking about a way to start sharing more than just tutorials with you guys. So I've decided to start highlighting some of my favorite products that I'm using right now!

Let's be real. We're all trying to look like a smokeshow here, but sometimes we can't spend our whole paycheck on that brand new palette to hit the counter at Sephora. So I have been scavenging the shelves of drugstores trying to find a few products that might replace some of my staple designer cosmetics.

The key to looking like a makeup pro while still saving is choosing where you want to spend your money. Prioritize the products that you love and feel like truly work for your face and then try swapping the ones that aren't as high on the list. For example. I am a sucker for MAC eyeshadows. I love how pigmented they are, I love the finish, and I feel like are the most long-lasting eyeshadows that I use. On the other hand, I don't always feel like blowing my money on mascara is essential. So I swapped my Dior Blackout Mascara for a drugstore classic and...boom... saved a few bucks. What's better than that?! (possibly the bottle of wine that I'm allocating my mascara funds to?) ;)

Here are a few of my faves!

1. Maybelline Facestudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter:

I was using Hourglass Metallic Strobe Lighting as my everyday highlighter and swapped to this drugstore product and saved about $54.00 on highlighter! $52! Holy Moly! Give it a try y'all!

2. Neutrogena healthy skin anti-aging perfector

I'm a big fan of a tinted moisturizer for my daily makeup routine as opposed to a full-coverage foundation. This tinted moisturizer has retinol and SPF 20. It gives my skin a smooth finish and is super moisturizing as well

3. Revlon Youth FX Concealer

I have always used MAC prolong wear concealer and I'm still a huge fan for my nighttime looks, but after trying this drugstore superstar I'm obsessed! It has a beautiful tone and just enough coverage without feeling heavy or cakey. Grab it for around $10.00!
